Alyssa |  Doctor of Occupational Therapy Capstone Student &  Social Medial Manager

Meet Alyssa, a passionate occupational therapy doctoral student at Northern Arizona University who is dedicated to empowering individuals with developmental differences.

Drawing from her understanding of inclusive practices, she is developing an innovative program at a Place to Thrive’s local farmers market for her final semester capstone project. This initiative aims to create meaningful vocational opportunities for children of all abilities, fostering entrepreneurial skills through hands-on experiences.

When she's not cultivating inclusion at the farm, Alyssa spends quality time with her four-legged companion, Oakley. Her commitment to nurturing potential extends beyond her academic pursuits to the volleyball court, where she serves as a coach, helping young athletes develop both their athletic abilities and teamwork skills. Alyssa's blend of expertise and creativity reflects her vision for an inclusive future where everyone can contribute meaningfully to their community.
